VDMA is the starting point for German Technology at Techtextil

At Techtextil 2015 in Frankfurt from May 4 to 7, VDMA Textile Machinery Association and Forum Composite Technology (Hall 3.0 / Stand D25) will offer comprehensive branch information and useful publications. A visit at the VDMA booth will be a good starting point for visiting afterwards the VDMA member companies exhibiting at this fair.

Those who are particularly interested in sustainable and energy-efficient production of textiles can ask for the “Energy-efficiency Guide, the Blue Competence Flyer or also the most illustrative success stories of the exhibiting Blue Competence partners.

The Forum Composite Technology covering all sectors of Germany’s mechanical engineering industry and interconnecting all technological know-how along the value chain also makes available similar information.

VDMA activities during Techtextil:
Award ceremony of the Walter Reiners-Foundation: Awards of the textile machinery industry in the categories "dissertation", "diploma/master thesis" and "creativity".

Pic: Every year the Walter Reiners-Stiftung (foundation) of the German textile machinery industry launches several promotion and creativity prizes for young engineers. Last year, there has been a particular highlight: As a recognition for outstanding dissertations, master thesis and project studies the President of the Foundation and chairman of the Lindauer DORNIER GmbH Board of Management, Peter D. Dornier, has invited the laureates to a Zeppelin flight over the lake Constance region.
