BARMAG AT THE CITME ? FOCUS ON SOLUTIONS AND LEADING EQUIPMENT

At this year?s CITME ? taking place between October 12 and 16 in Beijing ? Barmag will be presenting the technology innovator?s highlights to an international trade audience.

i-QOON®

One way of achieving the reduction of the investment costs per yarn line is to increase the number of yarn ends per winding position. Barmag?s objective was to combine the increased number of yarn ends with the possibility of making packages, which were both high in weight and also at high speed.

The i-QOON® concept principally combines two winders in a single unit, with a total of 4 chucks. The winders are equipped with 1,200 mm long chucks, which achieve stroke lengths of 120 mm and 170 mm. Weights of between 15 and 20 kg can be achieved with a max. wind-up speed of up to 6,000 m/min. The specification of these winders is perfectly suited for POY processes (high-weight packages) and FDY processes (high-speed).

ACW® 1600

The proven ACW® is now available with a chuck length of up to 1,600 mm. The winder has been optimized in the string-up zone of the thread and in the chuck design. In order to design the most efficient production process, the customer has a Windows-based Plant Operation Center (POC), which enables the operating staff to optimize each individual process step.

MPS® - Multipurpose Superflex

The information focus in the texturing sector will be on the MPS® (Multipurpose Superflex), Barmag?s latest texturing concept with revolutionary features. Attractive investment costs both for small batches and for mass production are just as convincing as the possibility of operating the sections independently of each other.
This innovative concept enables simultaneous texturing of different polymers using a single system and hence makes the MPS a profitable investment also for sample production runs. Further benefits include the considerably lower energy consumption, which reduces the total texturing costs to an unbeatably low level particularly in countries with high energy costs.

CreelManager® - a milestone in modern quality monitoring

Barmag, with in excess of 2,000 UNITENS® installations and more than 420,000 sensor-monitored texturing positions, is the market leader in the area of online quality monitoring and is now integrating the feed material into its quality assurance concept. The close cooperation between the UNITENS® and the CreelManager® offers the possibility of manufacturing knot-free packages for the first time.

Furthermore, Barmag will be presenting ? in accordance with the Saurer Total Solutions concept ? new and innovative solution concepts for POY, FDY and industrial yarn sectors.
