James Heal team with Bangladesh agent OMC at Dhaka Textile and Garment Machinery Exhibition, Bangladesh 9th-12th February

James Heal will be joining their representative agents from Bangladesh, Overseas Marketing Corporation (OMC), on stand number 807. With the event predicted to be a great success, on display will be a showcase of James Heal’s Textile Testing Instruments for fabric and colour fastness testing, and a range of Test Materials.

The Exhibition

The 9th Dhaka Textile and Garment show 2012 (DTG 2012) will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) from 9th-12th February 2012. This is an ideal platform to demonstrate new products and exploit business opportunities in the textiles industry.

Pre-DTG Exhibition Testing Seminar- 7th Febrary 2012

A pre-exhibition seminar titled“Professional Textile Testing & Dyeing Solution for QC, QA and Growth of Export Market”will be held on 7th February. Jointly organised by Overseas Marketing Corporation ( Pvt.) Ltd., Dhaka, Bangladesh and James Heal, England. & Copower Technology Co. Ltd., Taiwan.  James Heal’s International Sales Manager Simon Dakin, will be delivering presentations, detailing James Heal’s recent strategic rebranding project, and how a new product signature for all their Testing Instruments has been developed. The latest new product launches including, the redesigned Titan4, and TruFade will be discussed. As well as newly rebranded instruments, Martindale, Elmatear2 and TruBurst.    

The Seminar is an essential forum for Textile Industry Professionals to meet with experts in the field of textile testing,to share market insights, knowledge andinformation; andto ensure that James Heal remain dynamic and pro-active to meeting customer needs and responding quickly to market changes. Both OMC and James Heal would like to encourage visitors to join them on stand 807 for valuable advice on laboratory design, appropriate tests for their products and buyers as well as suitable instrumentation and accessories to carry out these tests. Grasim Industries announces fresh investment of ₹3094 Crore to expand Lyocell capacity

Grasim Industries Limited, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group and a global leader in cellulosic fibres, today announced an investment of ₹3,094 crore, for Phase II Lyocell capacity of 110K TPA at Harihar, Karnataka. This expansion will consist of 2 lines of 55K TPA (150 Tons per day) each. The first line is expected to be commissioned by 2028, and the second line is expected to be commissioned by 2030.
