Itema S.p.A, the Italian privately-owned multinational company and global leading provider of best-in-class weaving machines, spare parts and services, is at CAITME 2014, the largest textile machinery exhibition in Central Asia held in the capital of Uzbekistan from September 10th – 12th.
Itema (Hall 1 Stand A36) is strongly committed to investing in the Central Asian markets and has a long history of working closely with Uzbekistan with the support of Motex agency, which has a representative office in the country.

Itema , which announced positive results for the first half of 2014, with 12% year-over-year increase in sales, is the only manufacturer in the world to provide the top three shuttleless weft insertion technologies: rapier, airjet and projectile, an ample product portfolio and a commitment to continuous innovation.

Piero Colombelli, Itema’s Sales & Marketing representative in the region, said on the occasion of opening the company’s stand at the trade fair: “One of Itema’s targets for the next future is to be more and more present with our weaving machines in this beautiful region. The 11th edition of CAITME - Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition – is open to visitors from September 10th until September 12th.

And ITEMA will hold an Open House in Japan on September 11th-12th on the premises of DAIKI Co., Ltd, one of Itema’s Customers and a leading weaver of automotive fabrics. During the Open House, Itema will showcase its latest advancements in weaving technology, with a specific focus on the R9500, the best-selling rapier model which enables Customers to produce a wide range of high quality fabrics, whilst achieving greater levels of creativity and success.   Itema will exhibit four looms in total in a joint display of technological advancements in collaboration with Stäubli Japan, leading manufacturer of advanced shedding machines and other textile machinery.
