Temco and Hengli celebrate 20 years of successful partnership

A shared commitment to precision and quality has defined the partnership between Temco and Hengli for over two decades. Since 2006, the Chinese yarn manufacturer has relied on Temco’s high-performance components to ensure the consistent excellence of its DTY (draw textured yarn) products.

“Temco delivers key components and ensures the quality of our yarns – for 20 years now,” says Mr. Jiang, Head of DTY at Hengli.

At the heart of this long-standing cooperation is the exceptional performance of Temco’s precision-engineered discs. Their most notable strength: a stable CV value, which ensures a consistent texturing process. This uniformity across bobbins and yarn packages is a decisive quality criterion in high-volume DTY production.

“The stable CV value is one of the key advantages that sets us apart,” explains Tim Spahlinger, Head of Sales & Product Management at Temco.

“Customers benefit from consistent yarn quality in terms of elongation, tensile strength, and appearance – batch after batch.”

A Partnership built on trust and volume

Since the beginning of their cooperation, Hengli has purchased more than 3.145 million Temco discs – including a record 593,000 units in 2019 alone. This figure accounts for around 3% of Temco’s global disc production since 1996.

“These numbers reflect the trust and mutual success we’ve built together,” adds Jörg Spahlinger, Managing Director of Temco.

As China’s largest DTY manufacturer with 1,062 machines, Hengli continues to set industry benchmarks – powered in part by the reliability and precision of Temco components.

Looking ahead

The partnership stands as a model of enduring technological collaboration. As the global textile market evolves, Temco and Hengli remain aligned in their pursuit of quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
