Pigment Reklam will accelerate innovations in UV printing

© 2021 Pigment Reklam
Pigment Reklam has displayed their UV printing solutions and application examples and also shared with the industry the first concept version of the new UV printing model that they are preparing to introduce to the market at FESPA Eurasia 2021. The new model will respond to numerous different application needs of printers, offering superior speed in single-pass printing.

Pigment Reklam, known for their UV printing expertise, came together with the printing industry at the FESPA Eurasia 2021 held at IFM on December 2-5. Pigment Reklam attracted great attention at booth B50 in Hall 10 and showcased their comprehensive technical service as well as innovative solutions at the last sector event of the year. FESPA Eurasia visitors had the chance to closely examine the performance of Plamac’s Pegasus 3200 LED UV roll to roll printer displayed during the exhibition. swissQprint’s recently developed and released fluorescent effect applications printed with neon inks were presented in the specially prepared neon darkroom at the Pigment Reklam booth. Company representatives informed the visitors about the 4th generation UV flatbed models that swissQprint launched in October and stated that they saw a serious interest in the market for these models in the coming period.

Making an evaluation about FESPA Eurasia 2021, Pigment Reklam company owner Serkan Çagliyan said that the exhibition is important as it is the last event of the year and that, however, they saw relatively fewer visitors compared to previous years due to the pandemic conditions and the imbalances in the exchange rate. Çagliyan stated; “New variants of the Coronavirus continue to emerge and pose a threat to humans. On the other hand, the fluctuation in the exchange rate also negatively affected the investors. Considering these, meeting at FESPA Eurasia after two years of postponement can be considered a success. Those who really thought about investment and wanted to see the innovations on-site were the main visitor profile at the exhibition. This actually enabled us to have goal-oriented conversations. We were able to spend more time with each visitor and exchanged views with them in more detail although we met with fewer visitors compared to previous years”.

Superior performance is a standard for the Pegasus 3200

Plamac’s LED UV roll to roll printer Pegasus 3200, which showed its superior performance to the visitors by printing for 4 days at the exhibition, responds to the demands of print manufacturers with its compact and powerful structure. This printer has CMYK, Lc, Lm, White and optional varnish ink configurations, offering a resolution between 720 and 1200 dpi. Pegasus 3200 provides superior power in printing on flexible materials, and supports the profitability of businesses from the first day with its ink consumption and efficiency.

swissQprint, represented by Pigment Reklam in the Turkish market made significant innovations in 2021. The brand introduced the first neon colours during this year and later expanded this colour gamut, making it possible for printers to produce value-added works more easily and cost-effectively with its inks that glow in the daylight and create a fluorescent effect in the dark. swissQprint’s neon pink, yellow, green and orange inks manage to create remarkable effects in both indoor and outdoor printing works. Pigment Reklam exhibited the application examples using these inks in the special dark room they have prepared at the FESPA Eurasia 2021 similar to the one at the SIGN Istanbul 2021. Printers can realize more eye-catching designs with neon inks with swissQprint’s new generation flatbed printers Nyala 4, Nyala 4S, Impala 4, Impala 4S and Oryx 4.

Visitors also had the opportunity to see the first demo of an innovation in UV printing at the Pigment Reklam booth. The prototype of the new UV printer to be presented to the market by Pigment Reklam next year, managed to attract the curiosity of the visitors throughout the exhibition. The new model presented with a demo design resembling glossy Lego boxes stacked on top of each other will meet the market in its final version in 2022.

Giving information about the new UV printer, Serkan Çagliyan emphasized that the model will set a new standard in speed and quality in single pass UV printing and provide extremely important advantages. Çagliyan continued his words as follows; “The new model has a very different design with its movable bed and fixed head carriages and truly defines flexibility in UV printing. Developed for infinite-length printing, the machine addresses to a wide variety of applications from high-volume works to low-volume works. The print speeds up and the print quality improves further thanks to its innovative special software feature. This machine will be an ideal printer from promotional items to industrial applications. As Pigment Reklam, we are happy to present a different technology that the industry has been awaiting for a long time. We will share more information about our model with the industry in the near future”.

Çagliyan mentioned the meetings they held during FESPA Eurasia 2021 and added that the investors demand more flexible and value-added machines.
