Kordsa at the International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society
International Conference of the Polymer Processing Society, bringing together professionals in all aspects of Polymer Science and Technology from all around the world, is held in Çe?me, ?zmir between May 26-30, 2019. Kordsa undertook the main sponsorship of the international gathering which hosted major science people, engineers and designers as keynote speakers. With its 35th edition this year, the conference attracted many industry professionals.
As the main sponsor, Kordsa had the chance to share information with the participants on Kordsa’s ongoing projects of its tire reinforcement and composite technologies R&D Centers.
Kordsa’s presentation on “An Experimental Study For Determination of Convective Heat Transfer Coefficents On Yarn Production Line” conveyed information on the study about Kordsa’s heat transfer coefficients which can be used for the modelling of yarn production line cooling process.
Kordsa’s second presentation, with the title “New Hybrid Nano Additives for Thermoplastic Compounding: CVD Grown Carbon Fiber on Graphene” was about thermoplastic prepegs developped by Kordsa.
