Leading the green transformation of the global reinforcement industry with its vision of material technologies focused on sustainability and innovation, Kordsa has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, one of the most prestigious global sustainability ratings, for the second consecutive year.

EcoVadis evaluates over 130,000 companies across nearly 220 industries worldwide, assessing organizations of all sizes—public or private—on their holistic approach to sustainability. The assessments cover key areas such as environment, ethics, labor and human rights and sustainable procurement. Companies are scored on a scale of 0 to 100 and categorized into bronze, silver, gold, or platinum levels based on their performance. Those ranking in the top 5% receive the prestigious Gold Medal.

"We Shape Our Strategic Roadmap with a Holistic Approach"

Commenting on the achievement, Kordsa’s Director of Sustainability and Communications, Nevra Aydogan Gürsoy, said: “To achieve our sustainability goals, we shape our strategic roadmap with a holistic approach that encompasses all elements of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance). As an industrial company focused on advanced materials, we understand that the good practices we implement in key areas—such as environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement—are contributing to positive transformations in all areas we touch. As a result of these efforts, Kordsa has been recognized in the top 5% of companies evaluated and has earned the Gold Medal. Having our responsible actions validated by platforms like EcoVadis not only strengthens our commitment to our sustainability approach but also motivates us to take even more determined steps forward.”
