EXTRO SKILLS - End of the Project

An EXTRO SKILLS project (c) 2018 EURATEX

The project EXTRO SKILLS came to an end at 31st of March 2018 after 30 months successful implementation period. All the partners worked on developing innovative and useful training material and results for export and fashion marketing personnel of the fashion & textile industry and for VET and tertiary students in schools related to the sector.

The core deliverable of the EXTRO SKILLS project is the Training Webplatform that was set up and is freely accessible at elearning.extroskills.eu in English, Greek, Spanish, Romanian and French.

The EXTRO SKILLS platform - a Moodle based Learning ICT tool - contains Export and Fashion Marketing training material. The EXTRO SKILLS Webplatform will enhance the knowledge on exports and marketing issues focused on the textiles and clothing Industry.

FITA, ABIT and EURATEX underline strategic importance of Mercosur – EU Partnership Agreement for the textile and apparel industry

EDANA warns of consequences of misclassification of PET spunbond imports

EDANA would like to remind its members and industry stakeholders of the legal requirement to comply with the EU rules on customs classification when importing nonwovens from third countries outside the EU. In this regard, it was recently discovered that there appears to be a high level of customs misclassification occurring in our industry. This could have dangerous and costly consequences for importers.
