7th Annual Public Conference: 29-30 March 2012, Brussels - Registration Open Now !

The event entitled "From FP7 to HORIZON 2020: Making EU Research & Innovation Programmes fit for Small & Medium-sized Companies" will feature presentations from many FP7 textile research projects across a wide range of subjects.

It will demonstrate how the European Commission and the European Technology Platform try to make European research, innovation & networking support programmes more accessible and manageable for industry, especially small and medium-sized companies.

The FP7 projects presented will cover areas such as new fibre and textile material developments incl. composites, textile functionalisation and processing, new developments in protective textiles and other technical textile markets, new technologies and business models for consumer textile products incl. mass customisation, textile sustainability and recycling.

A specific dissemination session of the CrossTexNet ERA-Net project will also be linked to the event. The conference will take place at the HUSA President Park Hotel in Brussels.
