EURASIA NONWOVENS symposium 2012 final call for papers
Following the success of the 2010 Nonwovens Symposium in Baveno which drew more than 200 delegates, EDANA is pleased to announce the first Eurasia Nonwovens Symposium, which will take place at the Sheraton Ataköy Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey from the 10th to the 11th May 2012, with a welcome reception on the evening of the 9th May. EDANA now invites industry experts to submit their papers for consideration for presentation at the conference by the 13th January 2012.
The programme will feature a mix of technical and market-related papers on nonwovens in all types of applications. Included in the programme are sessions which focus on the macro- and microeconomic outlook, hygiene, personal care and medical markets, industrial, technical and automotive nonwovens, innovation and regulation and emerging trends in machinery and raw materials. Industry experts should send their abstract to Eva Fabbri (eva.fabbri@edana.org) by the 13th January 2012. The abstract should include the full title, 3 bullet points summarizing the presentation and the full contact details of the speaker. The Eurasia Nonwovens Symposium will feature exhibition space, designed to enable companies to establish new business contacts, promote their brand to a global audience, launch and demonstrate new technologies, products and services and save time and money. The 2012 Symposium is designed to bring together key players within the nonwovens and related industries, providing an environment for delegates to both attend sessions with renowned business consultants and authoritative industry speakers, and to also engage their business partners in the various formal and informal networking opportunities offered throughout the event. The advantages of Istanbul as a crossroads between Europe and Asia and a cost-effective and central location for delegates, was seen as a critical element to attract the industry’s key representatives. EDANA welcomes both its members and non-member representatives from the whole supply chain to the event, which attracts key industry players from Europe, Asia and across the globe.
