World Premiere 2002: The first fitted sheet in 100 % Lyocell (Hefel AG)

and the TexBo (30 - 02.02.2002) in Salzburg to present its latest innovation: The first fitted sheet in 100 % Lyocell. Hefel is thus the first bed linen manufacturer in the world to expand its range of 100 % Micro-Lyocell quilts and satin bed linen with a Lyocell fitted sheet and to bring this onto the market.

The introduction by Hefel of the "first bedding made from wood" in 1998 represented an absolute ecological and luxiourous quantum leap. Now Hefel has expanded the concept of superior sleep comfort with an exceptional innovation, which will revolutionize the world of bedlinen. Hefel is now using Micro-Lyocell in a way that allows demanding customers to feel the fine, silky fibres on their skin. With the development of this new satin bedlinen in 100 % Micro-Lyocell, Hefel entered in 2001 completely new territory whilst also remaining an innovator in the home textiles sector, as far as the use of Micro-Lyocell is concerned. Success has certainly proved Hefel right and this will be further underlined in 2002, when a Lyocell fitted sheet completes "The Hefel World of Lyocell". These sheets are also very practical: durable and easy to care for - washable up to 60 °C and non-iron-finish.
