Kerry-Esquel Logistics holds its first board meeting

With a total investment of RMB 370 million, Kerry-Esquel Logistics Centre located in Shangliang, Gaoming, will span a total building area of about 85,000 square meters and is set to launch in the first half of 2025. The logistics center adopts high standards of logistics facility design and construction, incorporating elements of intelligence, energy-saving, environmental friendliness, and sustainable development. Key features include reserving solar energy panel loads, the sponge city design, LED energy-saving lighting, light-taking windows, new energy vehicle charging stations, and paving efficient thermal insulation layers on the walls and roofs. Automation and intelligent logistics facilities will be adopted according to specific customer needs.

Establishing the joint venture and logistics center will broaden the strategic cooperation between Esquel and Kerry Logistics. By leveraging Kerry Logistics’ network resources, Esquel can effectively enhance the efficiency of the global supply chain, reduce costs, and strengthen collaboration with upstream suppliers and downstream customers. In return, Kerry Logistics can capitalize on Esquel’s expertise and resources in the textile and apparel sector to boost its customized service capabilities, thereby gaining a competitive edge and setting a new standard in the logistics industry.
