INVISTA Foshan recognized for environmental excellence
The plant sets annual targets for energy savings thereby strengthening energy efficiency management. At the same time, the plant continues to optimize production processes, enhance energy-saving equipment and technology. In 2012, INVISTA’s Foshan plant voluntarily applied to be included on the Clean Product list. The initiative not only developed a Clean Product management system but also increased employees’ awareness of environment protection. The plant successfully passed the Foshan city clean production audit in May 2014.
“INVISTA’s Foshan site has been operating since 2006, was expanded in 2011, and enjoys a great reputation as a strategic and reliable supplier to the Apparel and Textile industry,” added Julien Born, INVISTA’s eastern region executive vice president, Apparel and Advanced Textiles. “INVISTA strives for quality, innovation and environmental excellence, with a commitment to using materials, natural resources and energy efficiently, thereby creating value for customers and society.”
