Textile Exchange Conference 2024’s “The case for change” theme sets the stage for RE&UP to discuss the future of textile-to-textile recycling

A unique, proprietary technology that is able to tackle the world’s critical textile waste problem in ways that seemed unattainable before. The results are high-quality, durable, and traceable Next-Gen raw materials that are competitive in cost, as well as on par in terms of performance and quality with existing recycled and virgin fibers.

RE&UP Recycling Technologies fits perfectly in this year’s theme of Textile Exchange Conference “Case for change”, committed to driving the industry to a transformative shift towards resource efficiency and environmental responsibility in textiles.

“We’re thrilled to bring our experience and innovations to one of the most influential platforms for driving sustainable practices in the textile industry," says Andreas. Dorner, General Manager of RE&UP. "This event is a valuable opportunity for us to connect with leaders across the supply chain and truly collaborate on the definition of best practices for the future."

At the Conference, of which RE&UP is one of the sponsoring partners, the company aims to share its unique approach in leading the change to build a more circular economy. With a process that can transform pre- and post-consumer textile waste into innovative, durable products that help reduce the industry's overall impact on the planet, and a recycling solution that is feedstock agnostic – it processes a wide range of textile waste including cotton and polyester and particularly excelling in recycling polycotton waste – RE&UP has set out to deal with one of the most pressing recycling challenges of our time.
