ALBIS GROUP invests in a new NEUMAG SAURER spunbound plant - with seven meters the world's widest line

Building on the success of its first Neumag line, the Italian nonwovens producer Albis S.p.A. has decided to expand its spunbond capacities and has ordered a second Neumag spunbond plant. The order includes a three beam SMS (Spunbond/Meltblown/Spunbond) configuration and bico capability.

Building on the success of its first Neumag line, the Italian nonwovens producer Albis S.p.A. has decided to expand its spunbond capacities and has ordered a second Neumag spunbond plant. The order includes a three beam SMS (Spunbond/Meltblown/Spunbond) configuration and bico capability.


With a production width of 7 meters the new line represents the world?s widest spunbond line up to now. The first installation which came on stream in 2005 comprises two beams, a meltblown unit, bicomponent capability and a production width of 5 meters.
