Visitors will be able to see the Autocoro 11, Saurer's fully automated rotor-spinning machine, in action. It offers 10% more energy savings than the previous generation and, thanks to Synchropiecing60, can efficiently process even the shortest recycled fibres. Belcoro is the brand name for Autocoro's high quality yarns. Also on show is the Autoairo, Saurer's high-speed air-spinning machine that produces Belairo yarns with extremely low hairiness, ideal for towels, polo shirts, and knitwear.

BICO BCF yarn delivers impressive performance in field testing

In a joint development project with other partners, Barmag and Object Carpet have successfully tested BICO BCF yarn in the carpet manufacturing process. The results show that this innovative yarn technology offers significant performance advantages and opens up new possibilities for recycling-oriented carpet constructions.

With just days to go, industry enthusiasm is building for the opening of Yarn Expo Autumn, Asia’s premier yarn and fibre trade fair, running from 25 – 27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
