Elmatear2 is a powerful and versatile instrument, which has been extensively re-designed with contemporary styling and a wide range of new features.
James Heal have recently undergone a Company wide strategic rebrand, which involved redesigning key instruments. Being such a popular James Heal Instrument, Elmatear2 was one of the first in line. Elmatear2 is a powerful and versatile instrument, which has been extensively re-designed with contemporary styling and a wide range of new features which offer real benefits, such as better value, increased accuracy, safety and flexibility. The instrument is supplied with everything the industry needs to start testing textiles, nonwovens, paper, board and plastics. Included is a full set of pendulum weights (A-D), a complete set of check weights and specimen, one spare blade and four specimen preparation tables. One unique optional feature is Pendulum Weight Kit (E), which allows double capacity to 128N. This makes it ideal for testing higher strength technical textiles such roofing shingles, Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and high strength upholstery and apparel fabrics. Pendulum E allows for quick and easy clamping with innovative rotary cam lock jaws and interchangeable jaw faces.
User friendly software has been devised by their technical experts to bring out a system where no calculations are required, and a statistical analysis of results will be generated. An optional PC software package is also available. Fool proof in operation, Elmatear2 has automatic level compensation, automatic pendulum weight detection, automatic zeroing and visible and audible indicators. With user welfare in mind, it has built-in safety, having no finger traps, two handed release of pendulum and automatic arrest of pendulum. To ensure continued satisfaction and compliance, James Heal offer a complete Service and UKAS Calibration package. This includes, worldwide service, ISO 17025 Calibration Service and 18 Months’ Warranty.
