Grobien stays president of Bremen Cotton Exchange

At 27th June and in its 141th corporate year the Bremen Cotton Exchange (Germany) held their general assembly in Bremen and received the anual report for year 2012. At their first constitutive meeting the managing board determined the executive committee of Bremen Cotton Exchange.

Personalities:

Fritz A. Grobien (55), (Müller-Pearse & Co. Trade) has been reelected for the President of Bremen Cotton Exchange and Ernst Grimmelt (45), (Velener Textil) for the Vice-President.

According to the statutes of Bremen Cotton Exchange the honorary executive committee is voted for a maximum term of two years.

Furthermore the members of the association voted for Henning Hammer (Otto Stadlander GmbH) as a new member of the managing board and they reelected Jürgen Knecht (Leinefelder Textilwerke GmbH) for the managing board.

151st General Assembly of the Bremen Cotton Exchange

Economic change and personnel decisions were the dominant themes on the agenda of the Annual General Assembly of the Bremen Cotton Exchange on 26 June 2025. During the meeting, the new Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the raw material association, which is now almost 153 years old, were elected. Fritz. A. Grobien will take over as President.
