Indorama Ventures showcases sustainable solutions for a greener future at Sustainability Expo 2023

Indorama Ventures Public Company Limited, a global sustainable chemical company, has been sponsoring and participating in the Sustainability Expo 2023 (SX2023) to showcase the company's commitment to PET recycling and applying sustainable solutions in the chemical industry. Indorama Ventures’ sustainability journey was on display from 2-8 October at Booth D9, Better Living Zone, G floor, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.

Under the theme of “The Future of Recycling”, Indorama Ventures’ exhibition highlighted the latest sustainable solutions that are poised to revolutionize PET recycling, heralding a future in which circular products become the new norm. The company’s commitment includes investments in advanced recycling, bio-based feedstocks, and partnerships with sustainable start-ups. These collaborations include innovation in enzymatic recycling with Carbios, introducing biotransformation technology with Polymateria, and exploring the production of bio-PTA and bio-PET with Origin Materials.

The company’s booth display demonstrates the versatility and circularity of PET as a sustainable packaging material, its product portfolio of daily household necessities, sustainability strategy, and alignment with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as corporate social responsibility initiatives to promote recycling education and community outreach.

Apart from the exhibition booth, Indorama Ventures was participating in Sustainability Expo 2023’s panel discussion on “Business Leadership in Sustainability” and was leading a recycling education workshop in the SX Kids Zone.

To support fabric makers in creating a more sustainable version of the well-known flame-retardant Trevira CS fabric, the company now offers Trevira® flame-retardant fibers and filament yarns that contain 50% recycled textile material. First customers were introduced to the new offering during Heimtextil trade show mid-January in Frankfurt, Germany.

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 concludes, connecting buyers with innovative selection of sustainable yarns and fibres

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 wrapped up successfully on 13 March, as a record-high of over 600 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions welcomed more than 25,000 visitors from 113 countries and regions. Held across 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the fair highlighted the textile industry’s accelerating shift toward a lower-impact, more functional future. Lenzing advances its transformation: Higher EBITDA, stronger free cash flow and more than EUR 200 million in cost savings

The business performance of the Lenzing Group in 2025 was affected particularly in the second half of the year by external factors such as international tariff measures, subdued demand and declining market prices.
