Trevira awarded “Systematic Safety” seal of approval

On 5 August, Trevira received the “Systematic Safety” seal of approval from the German Social Accident Insurance Institution for the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry (Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie, BG RCI).

The award confirms that Trevira GmbH meets the requirements for systematic and effective occupational health and safety management through the company’s occupational health and safety management system, which helps optimise production workflows and demonstrates the value that Trevira GmbH places on the health and safety of its employees.

The “Systematic Safety” award, valid for three years, also certifies that Trevira fully meets the requirements of industry standard ISO 45001:2018. The award was handed over to Trevira CEO Klaus Holz together with management representative Stefan Rauterkus.

Trevira CEO Klaus Holz said, “We are extremely pleased to be awarded the seal of approval, which shows that Trevira is a safe and healthy place to work.”

Indorama Ventures is pleased to exhibit the Trevira CS® brand together with 17 Trevira CS partner companies at the Heimtextil trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, from January 14-17, 2025. This year Trevira CS is celebrating its 45th anniversary! In 1980 Trevira CS® was launched on the market, at that time a pioneer for permanently flame retardant textiles whose flame retardant properties neither wash out nor are lost through ageing or use. They are characterized by the fact that they meet all essential fire protection standards without the need for a chemical finish.

Trevira CS makes its debut at Clerkenwell Design Week in London

The Trevira CS brand is celebrating its debut at Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), which takes place in London from May 21-23 2024. The brand is particularly targeting interior architects, interior designers, and contract furnishers to present its innovations on sustainability. Trevira CS stands for flame retardant fabrics that have been tested for fire safety. They also offer numerous sustainable properties.

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 concludes, connecting buyers with innovative selection of sustainable yarns and fibres

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 wrapped up successfully on 13 March, as a record-high of over 600 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions welcomed more than 25,000 visitors from 113 countries and regions. Held across 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the fair highlighted the textile industry’s accelerating shift toward a lower-impact, more functional future. Exhibitors presented eco-friendly organic, regenerated and recycled yarns and fibres, alongside innovative options such as sweat-resistant and high-performance materials. A comprehensive fringe programme further enriched the event, offering practical market insights and new networking opportunities.

Lenzing advances its transformation: Higher EBITDA, stronger free cash flow and more than EUR 200 million in cost savings

The business performance of the Lenzing Group in 2025 was affected particularly in the second half of the year by external factors such as international tariff measures, subdued demand and declining market prices. As a result, revenue decreased slightly by 2.3 percent to EUR 2.6 billion, primarily due to lower fiber sales volumes and lower prices for fibers and pulp, which were further negatively impacted by currency developments. Nevertheless, thanks to the comprehensive Performance Program, Lenzing was able to improve its operating performance and key financial indicators compared with the previous year.
