New Trützschler Card TC 15 launched to the market

The Trützschler Card TC 15 introduced at ITMA 2015 has been successfully launched on the market. The card is based on the successful TC 11 series and has been advanced in many areas.
Higher performance and lower operating costs

Production is approx. 15% above the performances of the TC 11. This economic aspect is reinforced by a low energy consumption. The installed electrical power is 1.6 kW lower. It was possible to actually lower compressed air consumption by 90%.

Designed for higher delivery speeds

The area of web doffing and sliver formation has been completely redesigned. It takes the higher card delivery speeds which are possible today into account. Today, delivery speeds of 400 - 500 m/min are not uncommon.

This is also the reason to use the proven quality sensor of the levelling draw frames, the DISC MONITOR, in the cards now. A pneumatic piecing-up system makes operation easy.

Flexible use

Naturally, the new TC 15 can be coupled with the Integrated Draw Frame IDF 2 as well as with the new Can Filling Station T-MOVE for JUMBO CANS. The new card is also available as man-made fiber version TC 15S.

Today, the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) is announcing the results of a comprehensive life-cycle analysis (LCA) for cotton produced in Tanzania under the Cotton made in Africa Organic (CmiA Organic) standard. The study emphasises the small ecological footprint of CmiA Organic verified cotton. This can largely be traced back to the absence of synthetic pesticides, artificial fertilisers, and artificial irrigation.
