Autoneum appoints new Head Corporate Communications

Ulrike Reich has been appointed Head Corporate Communications at Autoneum, effective immediately. She succeeds Claudia Güntert, who left the company last year.

Ulrike Reich holds a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Miami, Florida, USA, and a diploma in journalism from the University of Dortmund, Germany. With over 25 years of experience in international communication roles, most recently as Vice President Corporate Communications at Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, she brings extensive expertise in global media relations, executive and crisis communication, branding, and internal communication.

Ulrike Reich is reporting to Eelco Spoelder, CEO Autoneum.

Acquisition of majority shareholding in Jiangsu Huanyu Group by Autoneum successfully completed

The acquisition of a majority stake of 70 percent in the Chinese automotive supplier Jiangsu Huanyu Group, which was announced in November 2024, was completed with effect from February 28, 2025, following approval by the authorities. As a result, Business Group Asia secures access to all major Chinese manufacturers and significantly increases its annual revenue.

Autoneum again achieves revenue growth in the 2024 financial year

In the 2024 financial year, the global automotive industry recorded a slight decline in production of –1.1%* compared to the previous year. In this weakening environment, Autoneum increased its consolidated revenue in Swiss francs by CHF 36.4 million to CHF 2 338.7 million. Excluding translational effects from the conversion of local currencies into Swiss francs, revenue rose by CHF 96.1 million or 4.2% to CHF 2 398.5 million, which is in the middle of the guidance of CHF 2.3 billion to CHF 2.5 billion.
