Bemberg™ makes its debut with a dedicated space at Milano Unica

The precious fiber takes center stage alongside its Italian and European partners, unveiling innovations for FW 2027/28

Bemberg™ is the brand name of the regenerated cellulose fiber cupro, produced only by Asahi Kasei © 2026 Asahi Kasei
For the first time, Bemberg™ will exhibit with its own dedicated space at Milano Unica, the leading international trade show for premium textiles and accessories, taking place from 7th to 9th July at Rho Fiera Milano.

The showcase will put the spotlight on the unique qualities of Bemberg™ and the latest fabric innovations created by Bemberg’s leading Italian and European Textile Partners for the Fall/Winter 2027/28 season.

Produced only in Japan from cotton linters, a natural pre-consumer byproduct of cottonseed oil, Bemberg™ is manufactured through a traceable closed-loop process. Combining refined sensorial performance with responsible innovation, it remains among the rare fibers in the world, accounting for only 0.01% of global fiber production.

Its commitment to circularity and environmental responsibility is supported by internationally recognized certifications, including RCS, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and ISO 14001. Bemberg™ is biodegradable and compostable in soil as confirmed by the INNOVHUB 3rd party test and biodegradable in marine conditions according to MARINE certification by TÜV Austria.
