SHIMA SEIKI to hold private exhibition in Casablanca

Leading flat knitting machine manufacturer SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. of Wakayama, Japan will participate in a private exhibition to be held by its second-tier subsidiary SHIMA SEIKI MOROCCO SLU at its showroom in Casablanca, Morocco later this month from 25th to 27th November. On display will be the latest in computerized flat knitting and computer knit design technology.

On display will be two of the company’s SIR series computerized flat knitting machines, in 7G middle gauge and 14G fine gauge versions, both with optional intarsia capability. SIR is a workhorse machine that features the latest in computerized flat knitting technology, such as the patented DSCS Digital Stitch Control System, spring-type full-time sinker system, yarn gripper and cutter, and takedown comb. Likewise advanced is the SCG122SN 3G machine intended for coarse gauge applications. Demonstrations will also be performed on the SDS-ONE APEX3 design system that is at the core of the company’s “Total Knitting System” concept. With comprehensive support of the knit supply chain, APEX3 integrates knit production into one smooth and efficient workflow from planning and design to machine programming, production and even sales promotion.

Photo-realistic simulation capability allows Virtual Sampling to minimize the need for actual sample making, effectively reducing time, material and cost while increasing presentation quality in the sampling process.

Shima Seiki showcases WHOLEGARMENT® and 3D knitting solutions for technical textiles at Techtextil 2026

SHIMA SEIKI returns to ShanghaiTex

Leading flat knitting solutions provider SHIMA SEIKI MFG., LTD. of Wakayama, Japan, together with its Hong Kong and Chinese market subsidiary SHIMA SEIKI (HONG KONG) LTD., will exhibit at the ShanghaiTex 2025 exhibition (Booth No.: Hall N3, Booth A20) held in Shanghai, China this month.
