Benninger AG takes over the Wet Finishing Business from  Kleinewefers Textilmaschinen GmbH

dustry has changed drastically in the 90?s. The two companies have decided to undertake this step in order to meet the demands of the future more efficiently. Reasons for the goals to be followed are industrial logic, strengthening the market position ?continuing as preferred partner for our customers and for a sustainable business development.

With the take over of markets, know-how, 18 employees and a turn over of approximately CHF 15 Mio., Benninger Textile Systems AG besides other aspects, will have access to the market for elastic fabrics, while simultaneously improving present capacity - use.

Kleinewefers Beteiligungs GmbH, Krefeld / BRD will, besides other subsidiaries in the machinery industry, a stake in Sulzer AG, Winterthur, and further activities, be a minority share holder of Benninger Textile Systems AG
Benninger Guss AG and Benninger Immobilien AG will not be affected by this acquisition.

Benninger Group shows, in the year 2000, a consolidated turnover of CHF 210 Mio. with worldwide approx. 830 employees. For 2001 the Benninger Group is expecting slightly increased results.
