Jeanologia dehydrates the Chinese textile industry with Laundry 5.Zero

At the Kingpins Show China City Tour 2019 the Spanish company will showcase how it is contributing to dehydrating and detoxifying the textile industry globally with its technologies; turning the industry to digital. Its Smart Set of Jeans will be exhibited to show how to get an authentic and sustainable product using its technology, while also increasing competitivity and productivity.

Laundry 5.Zero, is the first complete production center that includes all of Jeanologia’s technological and disruptive solutions. From the fabric to the garment finishing, production is possible with zero pollution.

Producing sustainably on an industrial scale, Laundry 5.Zero efficiently combines Jeanologia’s laser technologies G2 ozone, eFlow, Smart Boxes and the first water recycle system H2Zero. Thereby, eliminating all the harmful processes for workers and the environment. Finishing processes with Laundry 5.Zero are done with Zero discharge, Zero PP spray, Zero substances of concern, Zero stone and Zero manual scrapping.

The new production model from Jeanologia, delivers five key benefits for the textile industry: it is eco-efficient, economical, scalable, agile and digital; connecting design, production and consumption. It is rapidly expanding globally guaranteeing competitivity through eco-efficiency.


With these technologies it is also possible to do short and fast series, making it possible to produce what sells instead of selling what is produced.

Eric Chen, China Sales Manager at Jeanologia, highlights “Laundry 5.Zero is a step further in the complete dehydration of the textile industry” and he has underlined Jeanologia’s objective of “eliminating the use of water and discharge entirely from world jean production in the next 5 years”.

Furthermore, Jeanologia backs the Chinese textile industry in reducing its environmental foot print and improving its production costs by acting as an expert technology partner for the industry.

Saving more than 10,651,000 cubic meters of water in 2018

The company has highlighted that in 2018 it saved 10,651,000 cubic meters of water, 27% more than the previous year; equal to the amount needed for the annual human consumption of 584,000 people, according the recommendations from the World Health Organization.

Jeanologia has been present in China for over 10 year and is an expert technology partner to the main brands in the country that have started their transformation to sustainability.

10% of jeans production in China is made using the company’s technology, both for exporting world brands like GAP, American Eagle, H&M, Uniqlo, Levi’s, Primark, Lee, Wrangler and G-star among others, and for national market brands such as Jack & Jones China, Meters Bonwe o PeaceBird.

The company currently employs 220 Jeanologist from 24 nationalities and has clients in 5 continents through its 10 subsidiaries. The export of its machines and services represents 90% of its total billing, reaching 61 countries.
