2nd International Composites Congress (ICC) – programme available now!

After the great success of the 1st International Composites Congress, the industry association Composites Germany is set to hold its next convention in Düsseldorf from 28 to 29 November 2016. This year’s partner country is Japan, which will be represented by several exclusive speakers. Prof. Takashi Ishikawa from the National Composites Center Japan will be giving a talk on “Technological Developments and Market Prospects of Composites in Japan”.
Running under the motto “Composites – on the Path to Becoming a Key Industry”, over 30 international speakers will present the latest trends and developments in the composites segment. New applications and technologies and a comprehensive overview of market developments in Europe and throughout the world indicate that composites are playing an increasingly important role in lightweight construction.

But composites with their amazing solutions and designs have also long been established in architecture and the building industry and have had an inspiring impact on the skylines of major big cities, such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As before, a special highlight will be the AVK Innovation Award on the first evening of the convention. The subsequent Composites Night will give all delegates a relaxed platform for communication and networking.

All members of the four founding organisations of Composites Germany – AVK, CCeV, CFK Valley and the VDMA Working Group Hybrid Lightweight Technologies  – are entitled to a reduction of the normal conventions fee. The convention will serve as the kick-off event of the trade fair COMPOSITES EUROPE + ALUMINIUM 2016 from 29 Nov. to 1 Dec. 2016.
