Rieter Pathfinder Extrusion System now equipped with HPTex-Device

(Ausführliche Meldung in Englisch)
RIETER PATHFINDER EXTRUSION SYSTEM NOW EQUIPPED WITH HPTEX-DEVICE ? Premier BCF yarn quality and high efficiency

The quality and characteristics of a carpet are mainly defined, in addition to several other factors, by the structure of the yarn used. In order to increase the elasticity, crimp and coverage of the filaments, the yarn is textured. The texturing unit thus has a direct influence on the quality of the finished end-product and therefore represents an important key component. For this reason, Rieter pays particular attention to the further development of texturing.

For the texturing of BCF yarns, the delivery of the yarn into a stuffer box is almost used today without exception. This process however has already reached its limits. Due to the dependence of plug formation on a multitude of parameters no further significant speed increase is possible. In order to go beyond these limits and to guarantee a reliable texturing process, Rieter has developed a HPTex-Technology. This friction-free texturing process results in a whole range of economic and quality advantages like:Stable yarn quality over a long period of time (streak free carpets)Consistent yarn quality from position to position (streak free carpets)Improved regularity and strength of textured yarn (streak free carpets)Good running efficiency (reduced waste) High speed potential (reduced yarn manufacturing costs)Simplicity and robustness (low maintenance)With regard to flexibility, Rieter´s HPTex-Technology also sets new standards. Due to the jets capability of processing a wider titer range, particularly for fine filament titers, it follows current market trends. Furthermore the higher crimp level produced by the jet allows the manufacturer to play between two extremities. On one hand the higher crimp can be used to achieve a top quality carpet with a higher coverage. On the other hand raw material can be saved if the same coverage is achieved from a reduced weight of yarn in the carpet. This enables the producer to ?tune? the yarn and carpet characteristics to perfectly meet the current market requirements.
