DIENES MultiMode Machine Family at ITMA Asia + CITME

On the ITMA Asia + CITME 2012 in Shanghai DIENES Apparatebau GmbH, Germany, (Hall W2, Booth C11.) will present one of the latest product developments for yarn spinning and drawing: the Godet Draw Duo.

+Equipment for High Performance Filament Production

The godet draw duo is a rigid and cost efficient execution for drawing, drying and cooling of yarns and filaments in pilot scale. Available with various godet sizes with individual gear drive or common belt drive it is capable for speed ranges up to 3.500 m/min.

All of DIENES godets are induction heated with temperatures up to 300°C; depending on process also unheated or actively cooled executions are available. The newly developed MultiMode control concept allows the variable positioning due to the on-board control cabinet and centralized HMI unit. Beside this module DIENES presents its high quality godet aggregates for high speed, high temperature and high load as well as the nanofiber spinning units.

DIENES at Techtextil 2026: Flexible pilot lines for bio-based fiber development

The growing relevance of bio-based materials in technical textiles is accompanied by increasing demands for reproducibility, high-quality data, and scalable process routes. Especially when working with cellulose and its derivatives, chitosan, lignin-based approaches, or bio-based PAN as a carbon-fiber precursor, R&D teams face variable feedstock quality, tighter process windows, and the need for reliable comparability across trials. This calls for flexible, data-driven experimental setups that can be reconfigured efficiently when recipes, solvents, and raw-material batches change.

DIENES at Techtextil 2024

The current accelerated growing demand for technical textile demands a more proactive approach which includes implementing frameworks and technologies for recycling and a broad use of biobased materials as an alternative to conventional polymers. Research work in this field is characterised by a high degree of adaptation needs, hence demanding an efficient, systematic and, in part, self-optimising experimental working system, which must be intelligent in gathering data from the process and flexible in enabling its rearrangement.
