Trützschler Switzerland AG continues the strategic orientation of the BCF business division

The symTTex systems for BCF production provide enormous flexibility in choice of polymers and colours to meet the demands of the carpet market concerning small lots and colour diversity.
Long-term quality assurance and availability of BCF spinning systems are the purpose of a close development cooperation between Trützschler Switzerland AG and Gebr. Bräm AG, Dietikon, Switzerland.

The technologically superior BCF texturing nozzle from Trützschler Switzerland is the core of efficient spinning systems for carpet yarns. Resuming this decade-old partnership with Gebr. Bräm AG provides an opportunity for targeted advancement and innovations, to extend the technological lead in this sector even further. Superior yarn quality and minimum use of resources allow BCF customers of Trützschler Switzerland to stand out from the other competitors.

In 2012, the supply situation in the area of spare parts for SwissTex BCF systems was such that it posed a threat to the market. For this reason a group of experienced SwissTex experts from development, production, purchasing and sales formed TEXTURIS AG in April 2012. The objective was to maintain the production capability of BCF systems and to ensure the availability of spare parts in the future. Gebr. Bräm AG was in charge of the foundation of TEXTURIS AG.

Meanwhile the shareholders of TEXTURIS AG have decided to cease the business operation of TEXTURIS AG and to continue the activities under the name and umbrella of Trützschler Switzerland AG again. Thus, all activities in the spare parts area will be performed by Trützschler Switzerland AG again, effective immediately; processing of current orders will still be handled by TEXTURIS AG.

As of April 15th 2013, the parts sector of Trützschler Switzerland AG will be managed again by Martin Kümin of former SwissTex and later TEXTURIS AG. This will ensure a seamless customer support.

Since November 1st 2012, the newly founded Trützschler Switzerland AG in Winterthur is a competence center that combines decades of experience in development, design and construction of spinning systems for BCF yarns as well as technical yarns for industrial applications. Thus it is the point of contact in all aspects concerning these processes, from spare parts for several hundred installed spinning positions, upgrades, all the way to customer-specific systems. Based on technologies that have proven themselves time and again, the company will continue to set global standards in filament production with specific new and further developments.

The Gebr. Bräm AG was founded in 1965. The company has progressed from being a mechanical workshop to being a partner of high-tech businesses over the years. Today, the company is run by the second generation and, with its roughly 40 employees, is one of Switzerland's leading contract manufacturers for apparatus and mechanical engineering, as well as for precision components, instruments and modular productions, for new technologies and ultra-hard materials.

The core capabilities are precision mechanics and tool making. Gebr. Bräm AG offers its customers a complete range of services from engineering and construction to production, and provides a complete process sequence for complex prototypes, single parts, and small batch production—all with the highest precision achievable at constant, high quality.
