On May 20, 2026, Trützschler and Wisdom-Greentech, a Chinese customer specializing in high-end maternal, infant & child care industry and related disposable nonwoven products, held a signing ceremony for the purchase of a ultra-high-speed 4.2m ATB line in Geneva, Switzerland. This cooperation not only represents a deepened partnership between the two parties in the ATB sector, but also marks a new milestone in production efficiency for the high-end maternal, infant and child care product industry chain. This jointly developed 4.2m ATB line is more than just an investment. It stands as a milestone achievement of Sino-German technological cooperation, empowering the high-end hygiene industry including feminine care, adult care and related disposable nonwoven products, and realizing a dual breakthrough in production capacity and product quality.

The jointly developed 4.2m line is the 14th Trützschler ATB line for Wisdom-Greentech. The carding machine has a working width of 4.2m and a designed speed of 200 m/min. Compared with traditional 2.5m and 3m production lines, the production capacity is doubled. Compared with traditional 4.2m production lines, it further improves production efficiency while maintaining high product quality, reduces production costs, and significantly enhances product competitiveness.

Trützschler is the core supplier of the key equipment – carding and web-forming equipment for Wisdom-Greentech's thermobonding production lines. Together, Trützschler and Wisdom-Greentech have created multiple industry firsts:

  • In 2022, Trützschler delivered the world's first 3.8m width single/double-purpose back-to-back double carding thermobonding production line to Wisdom-Greentech.
  • In 2024, Trützschler delivered the world's first 3.8m double carding thermobonding production line equipped with the most advanced middle silo blending system to Wisdom-Greentech.
  • In 2025, Trützschler delivered the world's first 4.2m width double carding thermobonding production line to Wisdom-Greentech.
  • In 2026, Trützschler will deliver the world's first ultra-high-speed thermobonding production line with a 4.2-meter working width to Wisdom-Greentech.

The two companies aim to further expand their cooperation in the coming years.
