The return of RadiciGroup Advanced Textile Solutions to the trade fair circuit after months of lockdown starts with Milano Unica taking place on 6 and 7 July at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibitions district.

Product sustainability: the key word for the relaunch of the fashion textiles sector

The Group has decided to focus on fashion textiles – one of the sectors hit the hardest by the pandemic – and to exhibit its portfolio of low environmental impact yarn. Without a doubt, the fashion textiles market has to place its stakes on sustainability to become a leading player in the revival and change under the banner of the circular economy.

The RadiciGroup stand is located in the Innovation Area of TexClubTec, the technical and performance textiles section of Sistema Moda Italia, and is showcasing all the Group’s most innovative and sustainable yarn solutions for the textiles world: from Renycle®, yarn made from recycled nylon 6, to Repetable®, polyester yarn originating from the recovery of PET bottles, and the Biofeel® range, including all the products from renewable sources (PET, PA and PLA).

“We are participating in Milano Unica,” stressed Marco De Silvestri, sales and marketing director of RadiciGroup Advanced Textile Solutions – Apparel & Technical, “because we want to show visitors and allow them to touch and feel that product sustainability, aesthetics, creativity and performance are characteristics that can coexist in fashion or sport garments. We are upstream players in the supply chain with thorough knowledge of materials and we are ready to work together with fashion brands to research solutions for the future: beautiful, innovative and environmentally friendly”.

In the Innovation Area, a Bio-Materials Forum has been set up, where RadiciGroup will dress a female manikin in garments made using yarn from the Biofeel PET range.

Additionally, RadiciGroup is taking part in Milano Unica’s Tendenze and Sustainability Forumin the Sustainable Creative Samples section, where it is presenting 7 fabrics created with its innovative green yarn.

RadiciGroup: 21st Sustainability Report published

RadiciGroup has published its 21st Sustainability Report, covering the year 2024, confirming more than two decades of transparency and measurement in the economic, environmental, and social dimensions. From its first Social Report in 2004 to the current reporting aligned with the GRI Universal Standards, the Group is now preparing for its next challenge: the adoption of the criteria that will be set out by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Twenty years of Sustainability Report for RadiciGroup

The RadiciGroup Sustainability Report reaches an important milestone this year: twenty years have in fact passed since the Group published its first Social Report in 2004, qualifying it as one of the pioneering companies in the realisation of voluntary non-financial reporting. The document measures the Group’s achievements and the actions it has taken to reduce its environmental impact, respect social values, and implement good business management practices.

Expansive innovations converge in Shanghai as Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 opens doors next week

With just days to go, industry enthusiasm is building for the opening of Yarn Expo Autumn, Asia’s premier yarn and fibre trade fair, running from 25 – 27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Across 27,000 sqm in Hall 8.2, buyers will find nearly 600 exhibitors from 14 countries and regions, spread across seven specialised zones that range from cutting-edge man-made and regenerated fibres to time-honoured cashmere and silk. Dornbirn GFC 2026 expands conference program with new thematic sessions

For 65 years, Dornbirn GFC has stood for innovation and is one of the world’s leading conferences in the fiber industry. From September 16 to 18, 2026, the international fiber community will meet in Dornbirn, Austria, to discuss current trends, technological developments, and forward-looking solutions. Cotton Brazil Dialogues 2026 concludes with 50 international participants immersed in Brazilian cotton production

The Cotton Brazil Dialogues concludes its 2026 edition after a series of technical visits to farms, cotton gins and reference centers, as well as workshops focused on Brazilian cotton production. A total of 50 participants from 14 countries took part in the field trips. The initiative is led by the Brazilian Association of Cotton Growers (Abrapa) and the National Association of Cotton Exporters (Anea), with support from the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).

Novel flame-retardant and recyclable fiber-reinforced composite
