Romanian garment manufacturing excellence to feature at Fashion SVP

Featuring in the major showcase of leading fashion manufacturers from Europe and the Mediterranean region, one of the highlights of Fashion SVP is a select group of prime Romanian suppliers. Fashion SVP is an exhibiton where Fashion meets manufacturing and takes place in London from 22nd to 24th September.

Producers will be offering both middle market retailers and high-end brands a range of services including formal men’s wear, high street ladies fashion wear, casual wear, sports and leisure wear, specialised knitted garments and accessories, both in high volume and customised production.

Quality fashion services from expert team
Utilising the latest equipment with a highly trained technical team supporting production, Proxima Moda offers a full service for sportswear, leisure wear and general fashion wear. Currently serving the UK, Italy and France, the company is able to offer short lead times with a range of garments of varying complexity and has earned "a leading position" within the industry. Elena Stoica asserts, "Modern management and the latest equipment with effective organisation and planning enables us to produce over 50,000 pieces per month. Our experience and successful partnerships has allowed us to establish the company in the international market."

Supreme quality offered on men's garments
Established in 1999, Enterprises et Co is a producer of high-quality men's shirts and garments, "suitable for many international brands in the upper market segment". With a team of 600 highly qualified employees, the company is able to deliver a professional CMT service to top international designers and brands ensuring that an outstanding level of QC is maintained throughout the production cycle.

Euro Fashion
Quality knitwear with regular and organic fabrics
With in-house programming and creative departments including washing and embroidery, the successful knitwear producer Euro Fashion Activ has attracted many well-known fashion clients and also produces for corporate and airline sectors. Using organic and regular yarns for a large range of fashion products, Mihaela Apetrei states, "We have established ourselves with quality and reliability with balanced prices between quality and complexity of products".

Kasiova
Exquisite hand-made accessories and knitwear
Specialising in hand-made knitwear, Kasiova draws on its design team's expertise to create original products to meet clients' requirements. The staff utilise hand-made techniques including knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery and trim to produce general fashion knitwear and accessories such as gloves, scarves and hats. With an expansion planned, the company told us, "Our bigger location will allow us to hire new staff and increase production, thereby diversifying our operation but keeping the hand-made status."

Datsa
Expertise in complex garment manufacture
Specialising in knitwear and jerseywear, Datsa has accumulated an impressive European client base, offering casual wear garments, corporate wear and uniforms with specilaity printing and embroidery. With the ability to produce complex garments utilising a large range of fabrics including leather and luxury fabrics, the vast product range includes current and classic products for ladies and men with fashionable lines of jumpers, cardigans, skirts and dresses. Euroconf
First-class formal design and quality for men
With a skilled team of 480 employees, Euroconf is able to produce high quality men's suits, jackets and trousers, made with quality fabrics sourced from Italy. Currently serving major international companies within the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the company's own brand, Paolo Rossi has gained recognition for first-class design and excellent execution.

Escurial
Elegant ladieswear with large fabric ranges
Originally a producer of cocktail and evening dresses, Escurial now also supplies a large number of boutiques and shops throughout Europe with a range of jerseywear. The company are "dedicated to bringing new, beautiful and elegant designs" with at least 200 new models each year, in varying colours and fabrics and also offers additional CMT and sampling services.

Full service ladieswear excellence
Supplying leading clients in the UK, French, Belgium and German markets, Knitwear and All Season Group provides a full range of services for ladies general fashion wear. Working with a vast range of fabrics including cotton, wool, linen, silk, polyesters, viscoses, acrylics as well as luxury fabrics, the quality product range includes blouses, shirts, dresses, skirts and corporate wear. The company has also enjoyed success with its own brand, designed by founder Carmen Grigoriu.

Formens
Expansion plans for menswear production company
Having supplied clients such as Armand Thierry, Formens are one of the leaders in European made-to-measure and ready-to-wear suits manufacture. With expertise in the French market, the company is set to invest even further in the infrastructure of the business with a recently acquired plant for the production of trousers, situated only 35 kilometres away from the main site in Botosani. By the end of 2013, Formens will open a third site that builds on Italian know-how, forecasting a capacity of 250 suits daily with traditional construction, adding to their present capacity.

Complex shirt production attracts luxury brands
Leading technology is at the heart of B&D International's full-service production for men, ladies and children. These range from standard designs to complicated styles, including double collar, double cuff, embroidery, epaulettes, piping and contrasts. The company's specialist knowledge and abilities have attracted names such as Burberry, Hugo Boss and Design Lab to utilise technology such as Juki, Maica and Wastema. Manager, Alina Rachieru explains, "Our constant research into the latest technologies and design trends enables us to offer the best quality products for our clients."

Catex
Fast production for outer wear
Producing jackets, raincoats, overcoats and other outer wear within a production cycle of just 30 days, Catex is able to produce 22,500 pieces per month. QA manager, Ana Davidescu, states, "We are constantly investing in new technologies and each year, we are buying special machines and updating our existing software." The company is already exporting all over Europe including Germany, France and Spain with an enviable client list including leading brands such as Hugo Boss, Burberry, French Connection and Zara.

KATTY
Sustainable luxury products for designer ranges
Katty Fashion is a specialist in high-quality designer collections. Tanya Sarne's Handwritten and collections for Philip Armstrong are prime examples of the company's capacity to produce detailed embellishment, special fabric treatments, bespoke finishes, complex styles and flexibility when working with a range of unique and sustainable fabrics. Founder, Caterina Ailiesei states, "We strive for best quality to ensure the longevity of our collaborations." The company has seven separate departments that have rigorous procedures in place to ensure the calibre of the product is never compromised.
