PHP Fibers will present its new affiliate UTT as well as new and innovative materials

PHP Fibers, one of the global leading producers in high-tenacity filament yarns and specialist for innovative and problem solving products is exhibiting its broad portfolio of polyamide and polyester filament yarns and (new from this year) fabrics at Techtextil in Hall 4.2 Booth D19.

A new company of this group, and now an affiliate of PHP Fibers, is UTT Technische Textilien. The company is one of the leading suppliers of airbag fabrics and other highly specialized solutions in the field of technical textiles. On the fair, UTT will present its specialized airbag fabric portfolio, together with the well-known Enka® Nylon airbag yarns of PHP Fibers.

New brands and products of PHP Fibers

The upcoming need for sustainable products is for today’s technical textiles as important as tensile performance! Enka® Nylon BIO yarn is their first sustainable drop-in alternative for fossil-based technical polyamide yarns at almost zero CO2 emission balance for its polymer synthesis. In addition, it provides less sensitivity to humidly pick-up. With its good fatigue resistance in MRG, it outperforms fossil-based PA 6.6 reinforcements at the same time.

PHP Fibers took over the BREATHAIR® activities from Toyobo Europe GmbH in Europe in 2019. Breathair® is the latest innovative 3D structure nonwoven solution for everywhere you sit, lay down and relax. From a slim, flexible protective layer to a thick cushioning, BREATHAIR® is an excellent option for multiple applications. Being highly water repellent, exceptionally air-permeable and lighter than polyurethane at the same level of hardness plus its rubbery elasticity makes BREATHAIR® exceptionally durable.
