Techtextil: Techtextil Middle East Symposium and Techtextil Pavilion to debut in Dubai next year

Messe Frankfurt is expanding its successful Techtextil brand. With the launch of the Techtextil Middle East Symposium and the associated Techtextil Pavilion, Techtextil will take its first steps into the growing technical-textile markets of the Near and Middle East.
Events parallel to the Intersec Dubai trade fair  Both events will be held concurrently with Intersec 2014, the Leading International Trade Fair for Safety & Security. As in the past, over 1,000 exhibitors and more than 22,000 trade visitors are expected to take part in the 16th edition of the fair at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 19 to 21 January 2014.

“In this region, we see a great sales potential for manufacturers, especially those from the Protech and Medtech areas of application. Moreover, a good 25 percent of trade visitors to Intersec 2013 were interested in the safety and health fields”, says Michael Jänecke, Director Brand Management Technical Textiles/Techtextil.

“With the Techtextil Middle East Symposium and the Techtextil Pavilion, we offer a stepping stone into this region and the chance to find out more about this generally neglected market.”

Further information about this event and participation details will be published shortly.

In addition to the new event in Dubai, Messe Frankfurt holds six Techtextil fairs and three Techtextil Symposiums in five and three countries respectively. Techtextil, the leading trade fair for the technical textile and nonwovens sector, is held biennially in Frankfurt am Main. The events in China, India, Russia and the USA are the leading fairs or most important forums for technical textiles in their individual regions.
