Kelheim Fibres nominated for the German Sustainability Award

We are proud to be nominated for the German Sustainability Award (Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis), the leading award for sustainable development in Europe.

"We were nominated in the category “Biodiversity” for the concept of our biodegradable fibres for absorbent hygiene products, which achieve comparable performance values to synthetic solutions due to their specific functionalisation", Kelheim Fibres recently announced.

By replacing more and more fossil-based materials and thereby reducing plastic pollution, its sustainably manufactured fibres have a positive impact on the preservation of biodiversity and the protection of ecosystems.

Attorney Michael Verken was appointed as trustee.
