Marzoli confirms its commitment towards the Pakistani spinning community

Pakistan is one of the major textile hubs in the world today. The country represents the fourth cotton grower in the world and its textile industry accounts for 8% of the national GDP, employing 40% of the people involved in the manufacturing sector.
Due to the importance of the Pakistani market for the global demand of textile products, Marzoli, whose mission has always been to support the spinning industry with cutting-edge technology, has participated with its partner Acmatex to one of the main textile shows in the country: GTex. The show was held in Karachi between January 31st and February 2nd and gave the opportunity to meet several Marzoli’s esteemed clients.
Marzoli is now looking forward to the next big meeting for the Pakistani textile industry: Igatex 2016. The show will be held in Lahore between April 20th and 23rd and it is expected to host over 50 thousand visitors. During the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of partnership with Acmatex, Marzoli will be there to showcase the latest advancements in spinning technology, once again confirming its commitment towards the Pakistani spinning community.

Rieter sees Barmag integration on track as orders and sales rise

The first half of 2026 was shaped by the successful completion of the largest acquisition in Rieter’s history. The Man-Made Fiber Division enables entry into the growth segment of man-made fibers and sustainably strengthens Rieter’s market position in the Asia region. The expanded Group is now the world’s leading system supplier for the processing of natural and man-made fibers. In the first half of the year, initial cost savings in material costs and operating expenses have already been realized. The targeted synergies are expected to amount to at least CHF 20 million by the end of the 2028 financial year. Due to the completion of the acquisition on February 2, 2026, the first half of the year for the Man-Made Fiber Division only amounts to five months.
