Indonesia: Trützschler & Agansa joining forces for service excellence

Indonesia is one of the world’s biggest textile markets. It’s also a key market for Trützschler’s Spinning and Card Clothing businesses. That’s why we place a sharp focus on selecting a strong partner to serve local customers. Agansa successfully won that role in 2023. Together with Trützschler, the team of technical experts combines expertise in Spinning and Card Clothing to ensure that our customers receive outstanding service in the respective application areas.

In recent years, Agansa and Trützschler have built a relationship as leading players in the Indonesian textile sector. Agansa has a strong reputation for servicing machinery. Its headquarters are located in Bandung, two hours from Jakarta, while it also operates a branch office in Solo. All sites offer rapid service, as well as a full range of clothings and replacement parts for Trützschler spinning and carding machines.

Agansa was selected as our service agency in Indonesia because it has a unique capacity to provide excellent support for both card clothing and spinning. That ensures a single point of contact for all Trützschler customers. On top of this, the company is able to meet our strict criteria for service by operating at the same standard as every Trützschler service station worldwide. Events for excellence

Several events have already demonstrated the value of this collaboration since it entered into force in 2023. In September and October for example, the partners hosted a series of Customer Day events in Bandung, Jakarta and Solo – reaching more than 250 customers from Trützschler’s Spinning and Card Clothing businesses. Together, the attendees engaged in open discussions about key challenges and opportunities. Customers also had a chance to share their concerns and suggest improvements.

Barmag and Hitech Automation enter into partnership for an auto-doff system for texturing machines

Barmag (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. and Hitech Automation Solutions PVT LTD. of Surat, India, have agreed to an exclusive partnership to jointly market Hitech’s Doffmatic automation solution for Barmag’s proven manual eFK texturing machines. In many texturing facilities, manual doffing processes remain heavily operator-dependent – resulting in issues such as increased scrap, inconsistent quality, and limited productivity.

Uster’s new Recycling Opening Index guides spinners to the perfect blend

Uster AFIS 6 now offers the key data for better decisions when blending recycled fibers. Process control is decisive in determining the quality and economic outcome. The new R Recycling Module of AFIS 6 introduces the Recycling Opening Index (ROI), so spinners can optimize their circularity credentials. It was officially launched at ITM 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

STOLL: Agreement signed for the divestiture of selected assets

In early 2025, KARL MAYER announced its strategic decision to focus on its core business areas of WARP KNITTING, WARP PREPARATION, and TECHNICAL TEXTILES. As part of this move, the flat knitting machine business under the STOLL brand was discontinued and the production site in Reutlingen was closed in October 2025.

TERNAfil wins first place at PitchMiUp Night 2026 in Minden

The RWTH spin-off TERNAfil has developed MAXCarbon, a new high-performance hybrid fibre that combines the mechanical performance of carbon with the temperature and corrosion resistance of ceramic materials. For this development, TERNAfil was awarded first prize at the PitchMiUp Night in Minden on 21 May 2026.
