Cotton Seminar for Hugo Boss

In July, employees from various departments of the Hugo Boss fashion group took part in a basic seminar on cotton and cotton quality in Bremen. The two-day training focused on quality characteristics and determination as well as on sustainability aspects in cotton cultivation of the raw material. Seminar leaders Elke Hortmeyer and Jens Wirth from the Bremen Cotton Exchange and Axel Drieling, Faserinstitut Bremen (FIBRE), were able to address the participants’ individual questions. Fritz Grobien, Vice President of the Bremen Cotton Exchange, was available for an open exchange on current issues of cotton sourcing.
