Trevira CS at the Heimtextil Trade Fair 2023

The Trevira CS® brand presents itself together with 16 top customers and partners, an exciting special exhibition, and a sustainability presentation at Heimtextil in Frankfurt from 10 to 13 January 2023. The joint booth is located in Hall 4.0 / Stand C15 and covers an area of over 1,400 m².

Trevira CS customers and partners will be exhibiting their flame retardant products and new collections for the home textile and contract market at individual stands in the joint booth. Visitors can find out about innovations in the fields of yarn production, woven and knitted fabrics and interior solar shading. Once again this year, the exhibitors on the Trevira CS stand will cover all textile applications with their products, from light curtains to heavy upholstery fabrics.

The presentations on the Trevira CS brand will focus on 2 topics. One revolves around information on sustainability: The Path of Sustainability presentation will give visitors detailed information about the various sustainability aspects of the Trevira CS brand. The information chain will deal with Trevira CS technology, particularly sustainable product variants, the longevity of the textiles, the Trevira CS eco brand for flame retardant fabrics with recycled content, and the take-back program for Trevira CS fabrics. At the end of the chain, a prototype of a new product development will be presented, giving insight into the brand’s future sustainable development opportunities.

Once again, there will also be a special exhibition. The focus here will be on showcasing the special additional functions and properties that Trevira CS fabrics offer in addition to their flame retardancy. Visitors can look forward to a special staging: It’s showtime for the TEXTILE TALENTS by Trevira CS!

For the design of the special exhibition, all Trevira CS customers were invited to submit their latest Trevira CS products, distinguished by additional functions and/or special features, to the annual Trevira CS Fabric Competition. 227 products from 50 customers were submitted, from which about 150 were selected for the special exhibition. Several thousand meters of yarn will also be used in this year's special show.

Indorama Ventures celebrates 45 years of Trevira CS® and other innovative products and concepts at Heimtextil 2025

Indorama Ventures is pleased to exhibit the Trevira CS® brand together with 17 Trevira CS partner companies at the Heimtextil trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, from January 14-17, 2025. This year Trevira CS is celebrating its 45th anniversary! In 1980 Trevira CS® was launched on the market, at that time a pioneer for permanently flame retardant textiles whose flame retardant properties neither wash out nor are lost through ageing or use. They are characterized by the fact that they meet all essential fire protection standards without the need for a chemical finish.

Trevira CS makes its debut at Clerkenwell Design Week in London

The Trevira CS brand is celebrating its debut at Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), which takes place in London from May 21-23 2024. The brand is particularly targeting interior architects, interior designers, and contract furnishers to present its innovations on sustainability. Trevira CS stands for flame retardant fabrics that have been tested for fire safety. They also offer numerous sustainable properties.

Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition 2026 returns to meet market demand with innovative bedding solutions

Returning in 2026, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition will take place from 11 to 13 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. With rising daily pressures and increasing sleep disorders, demand for high-quality, functional, and sustainable bedding solutions is surging. The fair will spotlight innovative bedding products and technologies designed to meet these evolving consumer needs within this expanding market. Last year’s edition welcomed over 25,000 visitors from 85 countries and regions, reflecting a 7.5% increase in attendance and broader global participation.

Mimaki demonstrates versatile, simple TRAPIS textile printing at Heimtextil 2026

Mimaki’s textile pigment transfer printing system, TRAPIS, is able to print on a diverse range of fabrics - unlike traditional processes - including natural fibres and synthetic fabrics. The full solution will be shown on Mimaki’s booth (Hall 3.0 Stand A97), as the company returns to Heimtextil to showcase its advancements in sustainable, high quality and efficient textile printing.

Culp reports improved operating results in Q2 as restructuring gains traction

Culp, Inc., a major supplier of mattress and upholstery fabrics, reported its fiscal Q2 2026 results with signs of operational improvement despite continued weakness in the global home furnishings market. Consolidated sales reached USD 53.2 million, slightly above the previous quarter, with the bedding segment growing both sequentially and year-over-year.

ADVANSA launches ADVA®tex: A new step toward textile-to-textile recycling

ADVANSA has introduced ADVA®tex, a new filling fibre made entirely from recycled pre-consumer textile waste, positioning the material as a significant step forward in textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling. The fibre is designed for use in duvets, pillows, mattresses, and furniture applications and is available in three versions.
