ShanghaiTex2021 moves into a hybrid, online-offline trade exhibition “Textech Inno Week”

In view of the impact brought by the enhanced pandemic control measures towards the textile industry, the organizer has decided to host ShanghaiTex2021 as a hybrid show branded “Textech Inno Week”, debuts November 23 to 26.

Exhibitors can showcase their products on official website www.ShanghaiTex.cn, and attend in-person events in Shanghai, where they can make announcements on their new technologies, engage in business match-making meetings and network in a portfolio of events.

“Textech Inno Week” focuses on the overarching theme of five innovations notably innovative technology, new materials, revolutionary designs, e-commerce business and cross-platform experience. Through a range of online and offline activities, we strive to create a synergistic benefit for the entire industry chain, driving growth and inspiring new development of the textile sector.

Held in November every odd year, The International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex) is renowned for its expertise in delivering high quality services and valuable businesses to the textile and apparel sector. For the past 38 years, ShanghaiTex takes pride in upholding its ethos in the ongoing development of the industry technology while taking the initiatives to build up a global exchange platform conducive to textile innovation.

The next edition, ShanghaiTex 2023 is scheduled from November 22 to 25 for its grand opening at Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

Textile climate control system in workwear – exhibition at the 2026 SME Innovation Day!

Conventional protective workwear often reaches its limits during strenuous physical activity. In particular, the transport of sweat and excess body heat poses a problem. The German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF) conducted research on flow-optimized, air-conducting textile structures that enable targeted climate control directly on the body. These structures can be integrated straight into protective work garments. The textile climate control system supports the body’s natural thermoregulation. On 13 May 2026, after eight months of investigation, the European Commission imposed provisional anti-dumping duties of 45.6-50.0% on imports of PET spunbond from China.
