ANDRITZ acquires NSC Nonwoven, France and China
The acquired companies have approximately 200 employees and generate aggregate annual sales of about 40 MEUR. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price; the contract is subject to approval by the relevant authorities and is expected to come in force during the fourth quarter of 2011.
NSC Nonwoven - now ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau - supplies systems for drylaid nonwoven production, mainly for textile and hygiene applications. The ANDRITZ PULP & PAPER business area is thus strengthening and complementing its product range for the nonwovens industry. In combination with the proven products and technologies of ANDRITZ Küsters and ANDRITZ Perfojet, ANDRITZ will be able to supply complete vertical system solutions for production of nonwovens to its
