Groz-Beckert launches comprehensive Reed Portfolio in Ichalkaranji to advance weaving excellence in India

Groz-Beckert, the world’s leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts, and systems for the textile industry, hosted an exclusive customer event titled “Advancing Weaving Excellence – Reed Portfolio Launch” in Ichalkaranji, one of India’s most prominent weaving hubs.

The event brought together around 100 weaving mill owners and industry partners for an evening focused on innovation, global weaving perspectives, and the introduction of Groz-Beckert’s new Reed Portfolio to the Indian market.

According to the event agenda, the program featured welcome remarks, global market insights, a dedicated Reed presentation, portfolio overview, interactive Q&A sessions, and networking over dinner.

Strengthening commitment to the Indian weaving cluster

In the welcome address, Groz-Beckert highlighted the special significance of Ichalkaranji in its India journey, recalling the inauguration of its weaving showroom in 2022 and expressing gratitude for the strong support from the local weaving community. The gathering was positioned as a step forward in deepening partnerships and bringing advanced weaving solutions closer to customers.

Senior experts from Groz-Beckert’s global weaving division joined the event to share international perspectives and technological insights:

The Reed presentation and subsequent Q&A sessions generated significant interest from attendees, who engaged actively with the experts on performance, durability, and application benefits for Indian weaving conditions.
