Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen 2019 opens on Thursday with record number of sourcing options

Intertextile Pavilion Shenzhen 2019 will open from 4 – 6 July at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The fair will cover halls 6 to 9 with more than 1,000 exhibitors from 11 countries & regions (2018: 971 exhibitors, 12 countries & regions), showcasing a wide range of apparel fabrics and accessories products. Visitors can access the e-catalogue now for a detailed guide, including hall overviews, floor plans and a preview of the products on offer.

With more exhibitors than ever, trade buyers can expect to find an array of options to meet every order need. Product groups include high quality apparel fabrics and yarns, as well as specialised products such as accessories, lace & embroidery, jacquard & dobby, digital printing, silk, wool, functional products, sustainable products and services, and more. International highlights

Key industry players from around the world can be found in the Overseas Zone in hall 9. This includes participants in the Fine Japan Zone, the Korea Pavilion and the Taiwan Pavilion as well as a wide array of Hong Kong suppliers and for the first time, new exhibitors M & S Textiles Australia. More highlighted exhibitors include:

Duckwoo Corporation, who will showcase silky and acetate-like woven fabrics using high-twisted and eco-friendly yarns.
(new) Orientex Precision, who will bring functional and recycled fabrics, including nano-coffee anti-bacterial shirt fabrics.
Sahsa Tekstil, who manufacture high-quality, luxury jacquard fabrics.

Industry experts will discuss everything from fabric trends to sustainability and more. The seminars will each take place in Rose Hall 2, on Level 5 of the fair venue, and simultaneous Mandarin or English interpretation will be available.

The fair will be held concurrently with the 19th China International Fashion Brand Fair – Shenzhen, which can be found in halls 1 – 4 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

As global demand for high-performance materials evolves, Cinte Techtextil China is set to steer the industry’s next growth phase by driving the convergence of global expertise, specialised zones, and forward-looking tech and insights. Which is why next week, at Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026, the organisers have made special efforts to integrate textile topics such as materials innovation, holistic sustainability, digitalisation and AI. Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2026 will spotlight forward-looking design directions and evolving consumer demand, as the global home and lifestyle market continues to adapt to sustainability priorities, emotional well-being, and diversified living spaces. Taking place from 18 – 20 August 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the fair will present its latest trend theme, ‘BREATHE UP!’, developed in collaboration with leading international trend forecaster NellyRodi™ Agency, alongside expanded product categories, and the debut of the Home Textiles Lifestyle Zone.

From advanced fibres to eco‑focused yarns: Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 set to welcome global industry to Shanghai

From 25 – 27 August, Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will return to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to reinforce its role as a key meeting point for the global yarn and fibre industry. With over 22,000 visitors, the previous edition gathered nearly 580 leading exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, showcasing advanced developments and creative applications that support innovative, sustainable textile design. The upcoming edition will not only present an extensive range of fibre and yarn products, but will also feature a comprehensive fringe programme, including industry forums and trend display areas, providing innovative upstream enterprises with a stage to introduce next‑generation materials and sustainable concepts.

Mario Jorge Machado re-elected President of EURATEX

The EURATEX General Assembly has re-elected Mario Jorge Machado as President of EURATEX, renewing its confidence in his leadership at a crucial moment for the European textile and clothing industry. The sector is facing rising costs, global competitive pressure and an increasingly challenging transition towards sustainability and digitalisation.

New spinning package with two-step filtration for recycled yarns and more

At the ITM in Istanbul, BB Engineering unveiled its new, patented ValuePack spinning package for the first time, which features a two-stage filtration system. This is particularly beneficial for re-cycling processes. Until now, spinning packs have used either metal powder (“sand”) or filter candles as filter media. Both options are suitable for differ-ent applications, and each has its own specific advantages and dis-advantages.

Mongolia: Workshop on Italian textile technologies kicks off in Ulaanbaatar

The workshop dedicated to Italian textile technologies will kick off in Ulaanbaatar from 21 to 23 June 2026. Focused on the most advanced innovative solutions for the textile industry, the initiative will bring together 13 Italian textile machinery manufacturers, confirming the growing interest in strengthening industrial cooperation between the two countries and highlighting Mongolia’s strategic importance for Italian textile machinery producers.
