YKK launches no. 3 size of QuickFree® click-TRAK® magnetic zipper globally
New smaller size expands use in lightweight garments
YKK Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Koichi Matsushima; hereafter, YKK) has begun the global rollout of the No. 3 size of its QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic zipper, expanding availability beyond China for the first time. While maintaining the same functionality and ease of operation, the No. 3 size is approximately 60% the size of the No. 5 size *1. This enables applications in lightweight garments, sportswear, hooded apparel, and other similar uses.
Three key functions and ease of operation of QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic
QuickFree® click-TRAK® Magnetic features magnets embedded in the left and right open parts, allowing them to automatically attract each other through magnetic force*2. In addition, users can easily remove the garment simply by pulling the zipper chain apart from either side without lowering the slider*3. The product also features a release function in which the slider disengages when a certain amount of force is applied to either side, automatically opening the zipper*4.
