INVESTMENTS IN FABRIC INSPECTION-MEASURING-ROLLING MACHINES AT HAENSEL TEXTIL GMBH, ISERLOHN (GERMANY)

The machines are used for inspecting, measuring and rolling of interlining materials in woven, knitted and fleece form.

After successful trials with a first machine, the company has now replaced all existing machines by the m-tec inspection-measuring- rolling machine, model MMS.

The machines are equipped with calibrated measuring and work from big roll to small roll produced on a 2-roller contact batcher. Inspection is carried out optionally with daylight or black light; the latter allows finding faults in coating more easily. Parts of the inspection table can be inclined in order to improve the inspection conditions. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a lengthwise cutting device so that 2 webs can be worked at the same time.
However, the most important criterion for this investment are the optimised rolling conditions providing a reduction of the roll diameter of 30-35% by adapting the rolling-device geometry to the roll diameter.

As a result, storage area and thus storage cost are reduced considerably.
