Autefa Solutions Needle Loom Stylus (c) 2015 Autefa Solutions
AUTEFA Solutions (Hall 3, booth number H 33) delivers turn-key lines as well as individual machines for nonwovens manufacturing. Application fields are the production of artificial leather, filter products and paper-machine felts, automotive felts, geotextiles, floor coverings, felts for insulation and nonwovens for the hygiene industry.

CEO Dr. Stefan Schlichter explains: „ We notice a trend in reducing of web weights. Customers want a homogenous product and high production speeds. The Needle Loom Stylus uses it‘s Variliptic drive system for gentle treatment of the fibers at high speeds. The Crosslapper Topliner, in combination with WebMax, significantly improves the web uniformity over the entire width. “

The Webmaster Card works on basis of a patented double doffer system between the two main card cylinders and offers two main advantages. It maximizes the production of the cards and improves the blending and fiber distribution on the second cylinder, facilitating improved product quality even at high production rates.

The Crosslapper Topliner is a key machine in many nonwoven installations. The Crosslapper Topliner increases the product quality in new installations or as a replacement in existing lines.

The Crosslapper improves the MD/CD ratio and the web strength.

The Needle Loom Stylus is equipped with the innovative Variliptic drive system, which enables high production speeds while also ensuring a gentle needling of the nonwoven fabric. This is particularly important during the first process step, the preneedling.

The Variliptic drive system optimizes the surface of the nonwoven fabric, while also protecting fibers and minimizing the needle wear. The key strengths of the AUTEFA Solutions belt dryers are uniform airflow and the precisely adjustable temperature distribution, the ability to maintain loft or to create high densities.

Energy Efficiency is guaranteed by EnRec Technology which offers a 6-level energy saving concept which substantially reduces the energy consumption of new or existing lines. The outstanding payback on the line and the functionality of the EnRec Systems convinced already more than hundred customers all over the world.

AUTEFA Solutions’ product range includes fiber preparation machines, nonwovens cards as well as aerodynamic web forming machines (Airlay), crosslappers and needle looms for mechanical bonding. The field of AUTEFA Solutions’ nonwovens technology was expanded by AUTEFA Solutions Switzerland which delivers equipment for thermobonding, drying as well as cutting-, winding- and festooning- technology.

Beyond the wardrobe – innovative cotton takes the spotlight

Cotton can do more – a lot more. Cutting-edge textiles and high-tech products made from 100% cotton prove just how powerfully performance and sustainability can come together. That very surge of innovation is front and centre at the 38th Bremen Cotton Conference, taking place March 25–27, 2026, at Bremen’s Parliament on the historic market square – culminating in a bold and dedicated closing session on Friday. In the spotlight: performance upgrades for pure cotton, smart strategies for circular textile waste solutions, and pioneering concepts for demanding technical applications. From natural fibre–reinforced composites to highly effective flame-retardant solutions, cotton steps out of the closet and shows the future potential woven into every fibre.

Keeping print inclusive: Empowering women in the print industry

Across all industries, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace is increasingly recognised as valuable and essential to long-term success. However, despite the print industry’s significant advancements in technology and innovation, visible representation of women remains limited. As the sector grapples with low recruitment, it’s important to challenge outdated perceptions. Creating real change, however, requires collective effort - no single company can do it alone.
