ShanghaiTex 2019 grandly opened

As a four-day China's textile industry's biennial event, The 19th International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex 2019) grandly opens at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre today (25 Nov). Under the theme of “Smarter Textile?Better Life”, the show covers nine exhibition halls with a total area of 100,000 sq.m, which gathered more than 1,200 international exhibitors to showcase the latest innovations in textile technology and machinery, including knitting & hosiery, spinning/man-made fibre, weaving, digital printing, dyeing and finishing etc.

Other than showcase, a range of concurrent events will be organized during the shows, topics include “Artificial Intelligence”, “Wearable Technology” and “Start Up” in the newly established “Textech Galaxy”. Also, following the success of previous edition, “The 2nd Shanghai International Textile Intelligent Manufacturing Forum” will introduce the whole chain of the technical manufacturing process and showcase the AI textile products, adding new elements to the show and leading the textile fashion industry to a whole new level. At the same time, The 2nd Artificial Intelligence on Fashion & Textile International Conference (AIFT 2019) will also be organized in ShanghaiTex 2019 as a new event, bringing new atmosphere to the show.

Exploring the Future Trends of Textile 

Today’s highlighed events includeTextech Inno Talk (I), Shanghai International Textile Intelligent Manufaturing Forum and The 2nd Wearable Technology X Textile Design Competition (WTTDC), exploring the technology application of textile fashion and the infinite possibilities of industrial innovation, which in turn opens up new opportunities for the textile and fashion industry.

The rest of the event for the next three days include: The 2nd Artificial Intelligence on Fashion & Textile International Conference (AIFT 2019), Mapping Sustainable Fashion & Textile – The Denim Chapter, The International Healthcare and Textile Sci-Tech Innovation Conference and the 2019 Fashion Printing Global Digital Printing Summit Forum etc, which focus on the elements of “Heathy textile”, “Sustainable Denim” and “Digital Printing”.
