Achievements awarded at Sandler

This year, Procter & Gamble awarded Sandler for their high level of performance and quality in the feminine hygiene and baby care divisions.

For the second year in a row, Sandler has received Procter & Gamble’s highest award, the “External Partner of the Year Award,” in the feminine hygiene products division. Sandler was selected as one of 11 companies out of around 50,000 suppliers to the Group as a whole.

The award ceremony took place at the beginning of November at a major festive event in Cincinnati, OH, USA. Jon Moeller, Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of P&G, said: “You have been crucial to our success. Your sustained performance and partnership have enabled our mutual growth.“ Ana Elena Marziano, P&G's Chief Purchasing Officer added: “These companies have been among the very best. … The partnership and collaborating with our supply ecosystem is essential to win —we innovate, solve problems, and optimise our supply chains, together.”

Sandler board member Dr. Ulrich Hornfeck focused on the team performance of the employees at the Schwarzenbach and Perry, GA, USA locations. But also new products, quality and high flexibility in service were of decisive importance. “These awards are to the credit of all of us! For us, they are source of pride, but they can also be viewed as a challenge. Our goal is to continue to meet these high standards together on both sides of the Atlantic in the years to come,” said board member Dr. Ulrich Hornfeck.

Just a few days later, Sandler again received the External Business Partner Excellence Award at the joint baby care value creation meeting. For this award, all employees of P&G baby care plants were surveyed—from workers on the assembly line to management—to compare suppliers with regard to commercial performance, innovation, and operational management of the business relationship.
